This is a full-time on-site role for a Dosen Teknik Industri at Politeknik Meta Industri Cikarang, located in Tangerang. The primary responsibilities include teaching and mentoring students, preparing and delivering lectures, supervising student projects and research, developing and updating curriculum, and participating in academic and administrative activities. The role also involves staying updated with recent advancements in industrial engineering and implementing innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering concepts, including Production Planning, Quality Control, Manufacturing Processes, and Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and academic research.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools and software.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry trends.
• Master's degree or PhD in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Prior teaching experience at the higher education level is an advantage.
• Fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Responsible for IE team building and managing
• Lead in efficiency improvement: According to the requirements of lean management, promote the improvement of benchmark lines, establish an IE talent system database, and provide IE professional knowledge training.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of mass production.
• According to the production plan, by identifying production waste, optimizing workstations and layouts, and reducing costs
• Proficient in developing ramp up plans, analyzing equipment OEE, and developing improvement plans, and implementing them

Qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience leading a team
• Team should consist of at least 10 members
• Preferable if have experience building a team from the ground up
• Must be able to lead team towards specific goal
• Must be able to manage the project etc. independently
• Must be able to coordinate cross functional collaboration (internal/external), have good communicative skills
• Must be able to identify risks/ look for solution to problems independently
• Be cost, quality, delivery, safety oriented in daily work items
• Preferable if candidate is IE background (S1/S2), but if not, the candidate work experience should be mostly related to:
• Cost reduction
• Should have plant/company operational experience
• Must be able to work independently while leading a team
• Preferably passionate about his/her work, Adaptable
• Preferably from Automotive/ Manufacturing sector (Service industry not suitable)
