Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Accountant in Bali, Indonesia. The Head Accountant will oversee financial operations, manage accounting systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements standalone and consolidated (monthly, quarterly, annually), budgeting, and forecasting, managing audits, and overseeing tax filings.

Additional tasks involve providing financial insights for strategic decision-making, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accuracy in all financial records.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (both standalone and consolidated).
  • Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure all journal entries and transactions are accurately recorded using accounting software in accordance with PSAK and company accounting policies.
  • Manage and maintain the chart of accounts (COA), analytics, account classifications, and intercompany eliminations.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely month-end closing within the Finance Department's cut-off schedule.
  • Lead in audit preparation by supporting external and internal audit requirements and documentation.
  • Develop, update, and implement Accounting Policies & SOPs in line with the latest standards and regulations.
  • Oversee all tax filings and ensure timely submission.
  • Coordinate with tax officers and external consultants for tax reconciliations and audit responses.
  • Prepare and submit all statutory reports such as LKPM, CITR, and Financial Statements for audit.
  • Support the CFO and Finance Manager in financial planning, forecasting, and internal control assessments.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting (Standalone and Consolidated), Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of PSAK, IFRS, Taxation, Compliance, and Regulatory Standards.
  • Competency in Auditing, Risk Assessment, and Internal Controls.
  • Expertise in Accounting Software and Financial Systems (experience with Odoo is a strong plus).
  • High attention to detail and precision in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage financial operations effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage.
