Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all accounting functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of financial reporting. This position supports the CFO by overseeing accounting operations, implementing internal controls, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards. The Accounting Manager will also act as the key expert in SAP Business One, ensuring effective use of the system for financial reporting, data accuracy, and process improvement across all entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations & Reporting

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing.

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and GAAP.

  • Monitor accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as required.

  • Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements.

  • Ensure appropriate accounting policies and internal controls are in place and maintained.

  • SAP Business One System Management

  • Serve as the SAP B1 key user and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize accounting and reporting functions in SAP B1.

  • Provide training and guidance to accounting staff on SAP B1 use and financial procedures.

  • Support continuous system improvements and reporting automation initiatives.

  • Budgeting & Financial Analysis

  • Assist the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide accurate and timely financial insights to management for decision-making.

  • Compliance & Internal Control

  • Maintain high standards of integrity and internal control across all accounting functions.

  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws, local regulations, and company policies.

  • Support risk management activities and contribute to improving financial governance.

Requirements:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) — preferred.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1) — system configuration, reporting, and data management.

  • In-depth understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and accounting best practices.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and ability to communicate effectively across multicultural teams.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and hands-on management abilities.
