Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in PPIC, preferably in modest wear / garment / apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of production planning, workflow management, and material control.
- Experience coordinating between sample room, production, and merchandising teams.
- Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and production lead time.
- Skilled in Excel, ERP systems, or other production tracking tools.
- Able to develop and monitor production schedules, capacity planning, and material readiness.
- Strong communication skills to ensure smooth handover between sample to bulk production.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive and solution-oriented in handling production issues or delays.
- Understanding of modest fashion trends and production needs for various product types (e.g., dresses, abayas, hijabs).
- Ability to translate design requirements into production timelines and material plans.
- Strong coordination skills with vendors, sample makers, and production subcontractors.
- Experience in monitoring sample approval process and ensuring smooth transition from development to bulk production.
- Ability to create production reports and communicate progress or bottlenecks to management.
- Basic knowledge of quality control (QC) processes is an advantage
- Develop and monitor production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts and collection timelines.
- Coordinate with sample room to ensure samples are completed and approved on schedule.
- Manage material readiness, ensuring fabrics, trims, and accessories are available before production starts.
- Communicate with warehouse teams for inventory monitoring, material requests, and stock updates.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and report discrepancies or potential shortages.
- Liaise with purchasing for timely material procurement.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and analyze production and inventory reports for management review.
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, and quality control teams to ensure production feasibility and product quality.
- Continuously improve production efficiency and minimize waste through effective planning and coordination.
