Job Objective :
To lead, develop, and implement long-term agricultural strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth across large-scale farming, greenhouse operations, and post-harvest management.
Job Responsibilities :
- Formulate and implement long-term agricultural strategies aligned with company goals, including commodity selection, land/greenhouse expansion, and market penetration.
- Continuously analyze production and operational cost structures across all areas (field, greenhouse, warehouse) to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
- Oversee the entire large-scale crop cycle, from crop rotation planning and mechanical land preparation to irrigation and large-scale fertilization programs.
- Ensure consistent application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) across all project areas.
- Supervise greenhouse, warehouse, and open-field operations to achieve maximum productivity.
- Develop and implement efficient workflow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the entire agriculture team, including Project Coordinators, Quality Control, Field/Greenhouse Supervisors, and other staff.
Job Requirements :
- 7–10 years of experience in agriculture, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Practical experience in at least two areas: large-scale farming, greenhouse management, or post-harvest/warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of horticultural crops (vegetables and fruits).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic mindset with good business understanding.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and give clear recommendations.
