You will need to demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and possess a keen understanding of pharmaceutical/healthcare industry trends in order to successfully develop and drive the continued growth of MIMS MedComms's business to key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
What Impact You Will Make:
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Map and profile clients' key stakeholders (commercial, medical affairs, procurement, KOLs) and analyze client needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor MIMS solutions accordingly
Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, social media, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
Client Engagement
- Initiate and nurture contact with potential clients to communicate MIMS' value proposition.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase how the agency can meet client needs.
Proposal Development
- Collaborate with the agency's internal teams to create compelling and customized proposals and pitches.
- Present proposals to clients, addressing their specific requirements and concerns.
Negotiation and Closing
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements in collaboration with the agency's leadership and legal teams.
- Successfully close deals and secure new business partnerships.
Relationship Building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Manage key accounts and act as the primary client advocate internally to ensure high retention and customer satisfaction.
Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM systems.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, forecasting, and market trends.
What Skills and Experience You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2+ years proven track record in sales and business development. Preferably with direct experience handling pharma, life-sciences or healthcare clients.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, health-tech, and related services.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas to clients.
- Ability to build and nurture professional relationships.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
