DOEUN Korean Fine Grill in Menteng, Jakarta is looking for experienced Grill Chef/ Butcher to join our team. The Ideal candidate must have expertise in handling and preparing premium cuts of meat, with a focus on Korean-Style grilling. you will be responsible for ensuring highest quality of meat preparation, presentation, and grilling techniques to meet our fine dining standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portions premium cuts of meat according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Develop expertise in both Korean and International grilling techniques and apply them to our menu offerings.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless execution of dishes.
- Maintain high levels of meat quality presentation, and food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of meat supplies.
- Train junior staff member and associates in butchery and grilling techniques.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in butchery and/or fine dining kitchen.
- Expertise in handling and preparing premium cuts of meat (Beef, Pork, and Fish)
- Knowledge of Korean-Style grilling techniques and ingredients is beneficial
- Strong attention to details and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and adapt to changing menu demands.
- Good communications and teamwork skills.
