About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful pioneer to be the right-hand of our Managing Director in launching our new manufacturing facility in Indonesia from the ground up. This role is pivotal in transforming plans into reality, acting as the central coordination point between construction, government relations, and our global teams. Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Setup (60%)
· Liaise with architects, contractors, and government agencies to facilitate the smooth construction of our new factory.
· Track project milestones, manage documentation, and ensure deadlines are met.
· Coordinate with the MD and Tapestry's local team for site visits and meetings.
- Executive & Operational Support (40%)
· Manage the MD's complex schedule, travel, and communications in Indonesia.
· Build administrative and operational processes from scratch for the new entity.
· Assist in preliminary market research and vendor screenings (e.g., raw material suppliers).
Who You Are
Must-Have
· Languages: Fluent in English, Indonesian, and Mandarin (to communicate with MD and HK HQ).
· Experience: 3-5 years in project coordination, executive assistance, or business support, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or FMCG.
· Skills: Superb organizational and problem-solving skills. Advanced in MS Office.
· Mindset: A self-starter who is resilient, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You don't wait for instructions; you anticipate what needs to be done.
Nice-to-Have
· Experience in supporting factory setup or expansion projects.
· Basic understanding of lean manufacturing or supply chain principles.
