PT. Buana Mahayasa Sakti (BMS) Cigarette Manufacture (Kudus). Driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships with domestic tobacco product manufacturers. The Sales Marketing – Domestic Market will focus on expanding the company's presence in flavoring/spice compound and cigarette filter rod sales within Indonesia, serving as the primary liaison with Indonesian tobacco producers. This role also ensures compliance with relevant domestic regulations (e.g. BPOM, SNI, excise) and manages required documentation for local market shipments.

Work Conditions

Full-time, on-site position based at the company's head office (Kudus, Central Java) with frequent travel to customer sites, tobacco factories, and industry events as needed.

Responsibilities

· Sales Strategy

Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve or exceed sales targets in the domestic tobacco industry. Focus on identifying and pursuing business opportunities with Indonesian tobacco manufacturers to expand market share.

· Customer Relationship

Build and maintain strong relationships with key domestic customers (e.g. cigarette and tobacco product manufacturers), ensuring high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business

· Contract Negotiation

Negotiate sales agreements, pricing, and terms in accordance with company guidelines, and manage the execution and renewal of contracts with domestic clients.

· Regulatory & Documentation Compliance

Ensure that all products and shipments comply with Indonesian regulatory requirements for food additives and tobacco products (e.g. BPOM registration, Halal certification if required, SNI standards) and assist customers with excise tax documentation and other domestic regulatory paperwork

· Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with production, quality assurance, R&D, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and to provide customer feedback on product performance.

Reporting to Directors

Prepare regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and market analyses for management, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree (S1) in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field. (Educational background in Food Science or Chemical Engineering is a plus.)

· Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or export marketing (B2B), preferably in the tobacco, flavour additives, or related industry

· Proven track record of meeting sales targets is an advantage.

·   Technical Skills & Competencies

1. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to effectively engage international clients and close deals.

2. In-depth understanding of the company's flavoring and filter rod products and their applications in the tobacco industry, enabling effective responses to client requirements.

3.Strong knowledge of sales procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., customs processes, Incoterms, BPOM, SNI, excise duties) to ensure smooth transactions.

4.Solid analytical skills and a proactive mindset to identify market trends and business opportunities for growth

5.Problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented approach to handle client inquiries or issues effectively.

6.Basic proficiency in English (written and spoken) is an advantage.
