Background:
PT Mahakarya Bangun Persada is a subsidiary of PT Borneo Pasifik Global, operating in the coal mining contractor industry. As part of our continuous improvement in operational efficiency and supply chain management, we are currently looking for a passionate and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Officer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Management, or Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in a coal mining contractor environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement flow, vendor registration, evaluation, and reporting process.
- Experience in vendor negotiation and logistics coordination for mining projects.
- Familiar with inventory monitoring and warehouse control.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP experience is a plus.
Job Descriptions:
- Ensure the flow of the procurement process runs smoothly and follows the company's SOP.
- Source and register new vendors according to project and operational needs.
- Negotiate prices, product quality, and delivery schedules to achieve Best Price, Best Quality, and Best Delivery.
- Evaluate vendor performance, including delivery accuracy, lead time, and product quality.
- Maintain strong coordination with user departments and site teams to understand detailed needs for goods and services.
- Monitor inventory and warehouse stock levels to ensure material readiness aligns with project timelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on purchasing progress and fulfillment achievements.
