OVERVIEW:
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished
Head of Department – Fashion Promotion & Marketing
to lead academic delivery, drive curriculum innovation, and strengthen industry–academic integration within the department. The role demands advanced subject expertise, strong academic leadership, and significant exposure to the fashion industry—particularly in
fashion designing, merchandising, branding, or related creative disciplines
.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and strategic leadership for the Fashion Promotion & Marketing program in line with academic framework.
- Lead curriculum development, teaching delivery, and quality assurance to ensure academic excellence.
- Mentor faculty and students, supervising key research, projects, and creative campaigns.
- Drive research, publications, and industry collaborations that enhance the program's visibility and impact.
- Build and maintain partnerships with industry, academia, and professional bodies.
- Oversee departmental operations, including planning, resource management, and staff development.
PRE - REQUISITES:
- PhD in Fashion Marketing, Communication, or a closely related discipline
(mandatory). - Minimum
10+ years of professional experience and 5+ years of lecturing - Proven record of academic leadership, research, and teaching excellence in higher education.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and academic quality assurance.
- Strong portfolio of scholarly work, industry engagement, or consultancy within the fashion and creative sectors.
