Position Overview

Procurement Officer
, where you'll
source strategically

coordinate vendor relationships

ensure every purchase delivers operational value
. This role is central to our mission of reliable service and seamless logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers per PR; secure minimum of 3 competitive quotations
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with vendors
  • Prepare, issue, and process accurate purchase orders in line with internal SOPs
  • Monitor deliveries, manage goods receipt records, and align invoice validation
  • Maintain and update vendor database with performance and compliance insights
  • Resolve supplier delays, quality concerns, and payment disputes effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with business needs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement performance

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience
    in procurement or purchasing roles
  • Industry experience across
    Shipping, Maritime or Logistics
    would be highly regarded
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) a strong advantage
  • Well-versed in procurement regulations, contract terms, and supply chain basics
  • Exceptional organizational,
    tri-lingual communication in Mandarin, Bahasa and English

  • High attention to detail and adaptability under pressure
