The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Proactively seek out and acquire new clients, driving the growth of our Engineering Solutions businesses.
  • Accurately identify the needs, developing and nurturing relationships with both existing and potential customers, primarily within the engineering and manufacturing industries.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by guiding clients towards successful outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with both clients and internal team members to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities: -

  • Develop new accounts, services existing Customers; expand product range and usage in the assigned territory with a proactive mindset that focuses on exceeding sales growth.
  • Ensure personal sales target is met.
  • Cultivate strong relationship with customer.
  • Able to organize and plan proper scheduling sales activities.
  • Manage existing customers and prospect of new customers' especially targeted market in engineering and manufacturing industries.
  • Provide monthly MO (Monthly Objective) Forecast, Pipeline with rolling 3 months MO reporting beginning of each month.
  • Ensure timely and accurate forecast – monthly and quarterly.
  • Maintain healthy pipeline (sales funnel) size – 3x of target.
  • Timely and accurate submission of report (Eg, sales activity report etc).
  • Execute the objectives of the BFT sales activities to ensure good sales management.
  • Prepare sales report as required by the business unit head or management.
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc task assigned by your superior or management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Mechanical/Mechatronic or any Engineering related field.
  • Minimum 4 years in sales preferably selling into manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aviation, aerospace, tool & die, tooling etc industries.
  • Experience in selling engineering software, products or services (E.g., Catia, UG NX, CAE, Solidworks, Autodesk, CAD, Factory Automation, Industrial Automation, IoT, CNC etc.) are a bonus.
  • Solid understanding of complete sales cycles, from prospecting to closing.
  • Demonstrated success managing a sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Eagerness to learn is crucial.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Sales driven and good customer support
  • Has own transport will be an added advantage.
