Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
HVAC /
Maintenance Technician
to join our team at a leading pharmaceutical facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting facility equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have
3 to 5 years of experience
in maintenance within the pharmaceutical or a related manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Monitor and manage building automation systems to maintain optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory.
  • Respond promptly to building emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments on facility-related projects and improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

GMP Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and facility regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.
  • Participate in audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

Safety and Quality Assurance

  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Identify and report safety hazards; assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure maintenance work meets high-quality standards to support equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to pass a security screening and medical examination.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of maintenance experience in the pharmaceutical or related manufacturing industry.
  • Technical diploma or certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of GMP processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Additional certifications in safety, HVAC, or electrical systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
