About the role
Selathi Resto' is seeking an experienced Resto Manager to oversee the daily operations of our acclaimed restaurant in Surakarta, Central Java. As Resto Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals to ensure exceptional customer service, maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, and drive the overall success of the business. This is a full-time position that will require you to be on-site at our Surakarta location.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and supervise all restaurant operations, including scheduling, staffing, inventory, and budgeting
- Ensure excellent customer service and dining experiences by overseeing the front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Monitor food and beverage quality, and make adjustments to menu items and recipes as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute innovative menu concepts
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimise costs and maximise value
- Analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Foster a positive, performance-driven culture and provide coaching and mentorship to the restaurant team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Demonstrable track record of successfully managing restaurant operations, including budgeting, staffing, and inventory control
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of food and beverage trends, as well as local regulations and industry best practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial management to drive operational improvements
- Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
