Job Summary
We are seeking a
Senior Staff Accountant
to support group-level accounting and consolidation processes. The role requires a candidate with strong technical accounting skills, hands-on month-end closing experience, and a solid understanding of financial reporting principles (PSAK / IFRS).
The candidate should be able to work independently, coordinate with local finance teams across countries, and assist in audit preparation and group consolidation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
monthly closing activities
, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations. - Review financials of subsidiaries for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in
group consolidation
and elimination entries under IFRS/PSAK standards. - Support in
revenue recognition
,
ECL provisioning
, and
FX gain/loss postings
. - Prepare and maintain
expense reports
and other periodic management reports. - Coordinate with external auditors and local accounting teams during the audit process.
- Maintain and update
exchange rates, documentation, and SOPs
related to closing and reporting. - Participate in
ad-hoc reporting
and support the CFO team as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
from a reputable university. - 3–5 years of relevant experience
in accounting, finance, or audit. - Minimum
2 years of audit experience
(preferably with Big 4 or mid-tier firms). - Experience in
monthly closing
,
financial reporting
, and
reconciliation
is required. - Knowledge of
ECL provisioning, revenue recognition
, and
group consolidation
is a strong plus. - Proficiency in
ERP/accounting software
(SAP, Yonyou, Oracle, or similar). - Strong
Microsoft Excel
skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
