Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic HR Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to be part of our growing business in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are looking for a HR Manager to provide administrative support to the team, assist with recruitment and onboarding, payroll and help maintain employee records and databases. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational goals and provide HR guidance to achieve organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business unit's needs.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
2. Workforce Planning
- Facilitate workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing levels in line with business forecasts.
3. Employee Engagement and Retention
- Design and execute engagement initiatives to improve employee morale and reduce attrition in the industry.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and action plans based on feedback.
4. Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring resolution in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution.
5. Performance Management
- Support managers in driving performance evaluations and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Recommend strategies for managing underperforming employees while fostering a high-performance culture.
6. Compliance and Policies
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and other regulations.
- Conduct audits and manage HR documentation for client and internal compliance requirements.
7. Payroll
- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment of salaries
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Handle payroll-related queries and resolve issues
- Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., tax)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in HR and payroll management
- 2-5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll software)
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
