Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic HR Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to be part of our growing business in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are looking for a HR Manager to provide administrative support to the team, assist with recruitment and onboarding, payroll and help maintain employee records and databases. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational goals and provide HR guidance to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business unit's needs.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

2. Workforce Planning

  • Facilitate workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing levels in line with business forecasts.

3. Employee Engagement and Retention

  • Design and execute engagement initiatives to improve employee morale and reduce attrition in the industry.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys and action plans based on feedback.

4. Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring resolution in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance management, and conflict resolution.

5. Performance Management

  • Support managers in driving performance evaluations and ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Recommend strategies for managing underperforming employees while fostering a high-performance culture.

6. Compliance and Policies

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and other regulations.
  • Conduct audits and manage HR documentation for client and internal compliance requirements.

7. Payroll

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payment of salaries
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve issues
  • Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g., tax)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in HR and payroll management
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll software)
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
