KMK Group, one of Indonesia's largest footwear manufacturers, is embarking on a multi-year transformation to
revamp and elevate its Lean Operating System
across our major factories.
We are looking for a
Head of Lean Transformation
— a structured, analytical, and hands-on transformation leader who will design, lead, and institutionalize a comprehensive Lean modernization program that will shape the way KMK operates across all manufacturing and support functions.
This role reports directly to the
Head of Group Strategy
and will partner closely with factory General Managers and leadership teams across Production, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Product Development, Human Resources, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization of KMK's Lean Operating System
into a cross-functional, data-driven, and digitally integrated management model. - Translate strategic business objectives (cost, productivity, quality, delivery, capability) into a structured transformation roadmap with measurable performance outcomes.
- Oversee implementation of Lean governance (Tier 1–3) and drive system-wide adoption of daily management and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) discipline.
- Lead major operational excellence initiatives
— flow optimization, waste elimination, changeover reduction, and process stability improvement. - Build Lean capability
across the organization by training and mentoring internal coaches, value stream leaders, and managers. - Apply a
structured problem-solving approach
to diagnose systemic inefficiencies and develop scalable solutions with clear financial impact. - Track results through data-driven analysis and align improvement outcomes with Finance for validated cost impact.
Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years' experience
in manufacturing excellence or operations transformation, including at least 5 years leading Lean or productivity improvement programs at the strategic or multi-site level. - Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation programs with clear milestones, governance structure, and cross-functional alignment.
- Solid grounding in Lean systems: Value Stream Mapping, Pull Systems, Line Balancing, Quality-at-Source, and problem-solving frameworks.
- Experience in
structured, transformational projects
(from a consulting firm or internal transformation office). - Strong analytical capability, financial acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills in both
English
and
Bahasa Indonesia
. - A change leader who is comfortable driving results in complex, fast-paced, and culturally diverse manufacturing environments.
