Job Desciption:

  • The position demands team work, hands on, on a daily basis
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • And the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards
  • Prepare and bake a variety of fresh pastries, cakes, pies, tarts, breads, and both hot and cold desserts from scratch.
  • Oversee food preparation for daily service and special functions, including the creation of event-specific menu
  • Ensure all products are visually appealing, consistent in quality, and meet presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised pastry section in line with food safety regulations.
  • Manage ingredient and kitchen inventory, including stocktaking, placing orders, and conducting audits.

Requirements:

  • Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated
  • Supervisory experience is beneficial
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Expertise in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management.
  • Able to produce a range of products that need to be consistent on a daily basis
  • Other pluses include, a positive mental attitude, well groomed, and an outgoing personality
  • At least 10 year(s) of proven working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferrably have experience in well established free standing European Restaurant
