Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing daily finance, accounting, and taxation operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting management with timely financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Accounting

  • Supervise and review daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
  • Maintain record of inter-company transactions (A/P and A/R).
  • Review journal entries and adjustments before posting.
  • Supervise bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial statements.

  • Maintain Fixed Asset register and depreciation schedules.

  • Maintain records of inventory, Inventory impairment/obsolences provisions, and inventory write-off adjustments.
  • Monitor company cash flow and prepare regular cash flow reports.
  • Monitor company budgeting and forecasting process.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards for management review.
  • Provide financial analysis and variance explanations against budget or forecast.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.

Taxation

  • Issuing Tax Invoices and Withholding Tax Certificates (art. 21/23/24/26) in compliance with prevailing regulations and with accurate calculations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate calculation, timely payment, and reporting of all applicable taxes (VAT, WHT, CIT, etc.)
  • Monitor compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and provide updates on new tax rules.
  • Prepare, review and submit monthly and annual tax returns of VAT and WHT (SPT Masa & SPT Tahunan).
  • Reconcile Input and Output VAT with Revenue and Costs (PL report) at year-end, prepare a draft fiscal financial report with necessary fiscal adjustments, and submit the annual Corporate Income Tax.
  • Report employees' article 21 Income Tax (PPh 21) to the tax portal at year-end based on HR data.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all tax records for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Handle tax audits, queries, liaise and communicate with tax authorities when required.

Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and guide the finance & accounting team members in daily operations.
  • Ensure implementation of internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth financial operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support financial and tax requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and banks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (accredited university).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of PSAK, IFRS, and Indonesian tax regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN, withholding tax).
  • Preferred: Brevet Tax certification / CPA candidate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, words, power points) and accounting systems (Accurate, SAP, Oracle, Zahir or similar).
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and good communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines.
