Position Summary

VinFast is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead VinFast E-scooter in Indonesia, driving the company's mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable, electric urban mobility.

The ideal candidate will combine deep strategic acumen with operational excellence — capable of leading a fast-growing, innovation-driven organization across R&D, manufacturing, sales, network development & marketing.

As the division's top executive, the CEO will define the business roadmap, inspire a high-performing team, and deliver breakthrough results in domestic markets.

Objectives of this Role
Be the public and strategic face of VinFast's E-Scooter business, representing the company with partners, investors, regulators, and the media.

Lead the overall strategy, P&L, and organizational performance of the E-Scooter Division across all markets.

Drive the execution of business plans that expand VinFast's footprint in the electric two-wheeler segment.

Oversee R&D, production, marketing, and commercial operations to ensure sustainable profitability and innovation leadership.

Foster an inspiring, collaborative, and high-performance culture aligned with VinFast's Indonesia values of innovation, speed, and customer-centricity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and implement long-term business strategies, market entry plans, and product portfolios to achieve sales growth and brand dominance in the e-scooter category.
  • Commercial Management:
    Lead sales, distribution, and marketing initiatives to maximize market share and customer satisfaction. Oversee retail financing partnerships, dealer network performance, and brand campaigns.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Oversee manufacturing efficiency, supply chain optimization, and quality control to meet production and delivery goals.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Manage divisional P&L, budgets, and investments to ensure financial health and return on capital.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build, coach, and empower a high-performing leadership team across Sales, Dealer network Development, Sales Operation & Marketing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Represent VinFast E-Scooter with government agencies, strategic partners, and global collaborators in sustainability and EV innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong background in the two-wheeler or broader mobility industry, with a solid understanding of local and regional markets.
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a C-suite or business-unit head role.
  • Proven success in P&L management, strategic execution, and organizational scaling.
  • Expertise in corporate finance, manufacturing operations, and global supply chains.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multicultural teams and drive results under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with dealers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Fluent in English
