Lead Teacher (Preschool / Kindergarten)
We are excited to introduce our new branch of The Joy Of Learning, a Montessori-based enrichment center located in Citraland, West Surabaya. Our programs serve children aged 18 months to 9 years, with activities such as music & movement, sensory play, arts & crafts, phonics, storytelling, and more.
We are currently looking for a Lead Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to create joyful learning experiences with us.
Position: Lead Teacher
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Location: Citraland, West Surabaya
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome.
- Minimum 1 year experience teaching in playgroup or kindergarten.
- Passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is a strong advantage.
- Creative, organized, and proactive in implementing learning activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily class activities based on Montessori and thematic learning.
- Develop lesson plans and activity themes.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and milestones.
- Maintain communication with parents about their child's development.
- Supervise children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean and organized learning space.
