What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

As a 
Remote Accounting & Tax Staff
, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of client financial records and compliance with all Indonesian tax regulations. Your core responsibilities will include:

Accounting Duties:

  • Accurately recording and processing daily financial transactions using accounting software.
  • Performing monthly 
    general ledger
     maintenance and 
    account reconciliation
     (e.g., bank, A/R, A/P).
  • Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely 
    monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
     (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including vendor invoice processing and payment tracking.

Taxation Duties:

  • Preparing and filing various 
    periodic tax returns
     (e.g., PPh Article 21, 23, 4(2), and VAT/PPN) promptly.
  • Assisting in the preparation of 
    Annual Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns (SPT Tahunan)
    .
  • Conducting basic 
    tax research
     to ensure clients comply with the latest Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining organized and complete tax and accounting documentation and records for audit readiness.
  • Liaising with the tax office or external auditors as necessary.

What You Will Bring (Qualifications)
Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 1-2 years) in a similar 
    Accounting and Taxation Staff
     role, preferably within a consulting firm or public accounting setting.
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian 
    Accounting Standards (PSAK)
     and 
    Tax Regulations
    .
  • Proficiency in using common accounting software (e.g., Accurate, QuickBooks) and 
    e-SPT
     programs.
  • Excellent computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet remote deadlines independently.
  • Reliable internet connection
     and a dedicated home workspace for remote work.

Preferred (A Plus):

  • Possession of a 
    Brevet A and B
     certification.
  • Experience with client management and communication in a professional service environment.
