We are seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Officer to join Wave International in Jakarta. In this role, you will drive value for money, ensure compliance, and build strong supplier partnerships that contribute directly to project success.
General Responsibilities- Provide efficient and flexible procurement services delivering optimum value for money, cost savings, and quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Manage purchase orders, requisitions, and procurement documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Support the project team in purchasing activities in line with the Procurement Management Plan.
- Review, compare, analyse, and approve products and services in collaboration with project and estimating teams.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within procurement workflows.
Specific Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and report against Procurement Status Reports (PSRs) for PFS, DFS, and implementation projects.
- Develop and issue tender packages for capital equipment, labour, materials, and fabrication.
- Deliver efficient tendering, logistics, and expediting to achieve best commercial and technical outcomes.
- Coordinate, review, and assist in adjudicating commercial bids and vendor quotations.
- Support purchase order and contract requirements, ensuring timely resolution of procurement bottlenecks.
