Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled
Sales Engineer
to join our team. This role bridges the gap between engineering and business development, focusing on understanding client needs, designing tailored automation solutions, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities in manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, pharmaceutical, and related industries.
  • Work closely with clients to understand production challenges and propose automation solutions (robots, conveyors, vision systems, AMRs).
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop system concepts and proof-of-concepts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure after-sales satisfaction.
  • Represent MIT at trade shows, exhibitions, and client demos.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
  • 2–5 years of experience in
    technical sales, automation, robotics, or industrial equipment
    .
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation (robots, PLCs, conveyors, sensors, vision systems).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset, and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in selling automation solutions or robotics.
  • Existing network within manufacturing industries (automotive, FMCG, electronics, pharma).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes.
