Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mandarin Translator located in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The Mandarin Translator will be responsible for translating written and spoken content from Mandarin to English and vice versa, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations. Day-to-day tasks will include translating documents, assisting with communication between Mandarin and English-speaking teams, and ensuring consistency and quality in translations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mandarin, with excellent writing and verbal communication skills in language
- Experience in translation and interpretation
- Attention to detail and accuracy in translations
- Familiarity with cultural nuances and ability to ensure culturally appropriate translations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the entertainment or media industry is a plus
- Able to work at weekend
- Flexible working-hours
- Placement in Pluit, Jakarta Utara.
