Job Summary:

To develop business by taking ownership of the end-to-end sales process by identifying new projects, generating sales leads, organising efficient meetings, preparing design with the Geotechnical Engineers team when necessary, issuing budgets and persuasive technical and commercial offers, negotiating prices and conditions, securing profitable orders, follow up the project in execution.

Responsibilities:

  • To find new projects by actively and precisely searching for and convincing Customers
  • To prepare and conduct technical and commercial presentations & prepare Pre-qualifications documents
  • To coordinate clarifications requested by clients before, during and after submission
  • To negotiate tender and contract terms and to close sales by agreeing terms and conditions in collaboration with the Country Director
  • To be responsible of establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining positive customer experience throughout the sales process
  • To establish updated schedule for budgets preparation, detailed offers submission, contract negotiations and projects execution to ensure that the whole team is working efficiently and the deadlines are met
  • To attend weekly internal Business Meeting, to provide updated information regarding sales leads and to prepare detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • To update all sales data in Menard CRM
  • To anticipate, prepare and attend trade shows, conferences and other important events in Indonesia
  • To develop the bid-winning strategy and implement all necessary bid procedures and processes
  • To monitor, optimize and report on overall performance of bidding process
  • To drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with clients

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills (Fluent in spoken and written English)
  • Ability to sale technical solutions to technical and non-technical Customers
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to prepare timely clear and accurate reports
  • Must be able to take control and be accountable
  • Must have the ambition to succeed within evolving and sometimes demanding contexts
  • Having minimum a bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Evidence at least 5 years experience in construction/civil engineering industry
  • Having strong connections within Contractors and Designers networks
