Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates and leads the demand planning function with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain. This includes demand planning across all time horizons (weekly, monthly and long term planning).
- Responsible for key performance indicators on forecast accuracy (unconstrained and constrained) and fill rates (OnTime In Full - OTIF) particularly in the monthly planning horizon.
- Leads in the process of extracting and validating demand from all market segments. This includes aftermarket, and OE.
- Drives the Demand Management process.
- Leads the Demand Planning processes of Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain using the SAP APO Demand Planning module. Responsible for unconstrained and constrained forecast accuracy.
- Leads in the consolidation, updating of demand, sales history, forecasts on all planning horizons within the SAP APO Demand Planning module with the objective of matching supply with demand both on a short term and a long-term basis.
- Analyzes and provides guidance on the forecasting process using the tools within the Demand Planning module with the objective of improving forecast accuracy particularly in Aftermarket Sales.
- Provides forecasts references for Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance for Supply and Finance planning purposes. Likewise, leads in ensuring the data related to the Demand Planning processes are updated by all concerned functions (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance).
- Ensures proper maintenance of Demand Planning keys in the SAP Demand Planning module to ensure data integrity and reliability on demand, sales history and forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics or Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or sales operations, product marketing operations, customer service operations.
- Preferably, experienced in IT-enabled demand planning and/or sales forecasting systems and processes particularly in SAP APO Demand Planning systems. Must have substantial analytical work experience.
- Business, marketing, sales, with basic statistics understanding.
- Preferably with a master's degree and possesses strong analytical skills. Proficient in excel. Must possess good interpersonal skills to be able exert influence and/or work across functions and with customers.
