Job Description:

  • Handle booking arrangements with shipping lines, airlines, and other transport providers, ensuring timely container loading and shipment scheduling based on customer requirements.
  • Prepare and manage export and import documentation, including booking, commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, and Bills of Lading, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers, vendors, agents, and internal departments to verify shipment details, resolve issues, and maintain updated records.
  • Handle customs clearance and ensure export compliance for all destinations, with special attention to required filings for USA shipments.
  • Input and update shipment data in operational systems, monitor shipment progress, and proactively follow up on any delays or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with trucking companies, port agents, and suppliers to ensure timely container receipt, loading, and return, while supporting smooth end-to-end logistics operations.

Requirement:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or export-import operations.
  • Skilled in handling shipments to/from USA, China, and other international destinations.
  • Strong knowledge of export/import procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
  • Fluent in English and/or Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced start-up environment (Surabaya office; Head Office in China).
