About the role
We are seeking a talented Production Officer to join our dynamic team at PT. Herba Emas Wahidatama', a leading manufacturer based in Purbalingga, Central Java. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes, contributing directly to the company's overall success.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee and coordinate all production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring to meet production targets and deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, optimising productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collect and analyse production data, generating reports to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Provide training and guidance to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and efficient distribution of finished goods
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
- Thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
