Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily data center operational tasks, including equipment checks, system monitoring, and routine inspections.
- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and escalation of technical issues to higher-level engineers as needed.
- Monitor network, servers, and facility infrastructure (power, cooling, security systems).
- Support installation, cabling, and decommissioning of IT hardware.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, operational logs, and system status reports.
- Ensure compliance with data center operational standards, safety policies, and security protocols.
- Provide support in both English and Mandarin for coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Assist in scheduled maintenance activities and coordinate with other teams for system upgrades or changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in IT/data center operations or technical support.
- Good understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking basics.
- Familiarity with incident management processes and ticketing systems.
- Ability to work in a shift schedule (including nights, weekends, and public holidays).
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin (spoken and written) and English.
- Team player with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
