About Human Initiative
Human Initiative is a global humanitarian organization that continuously strives to create meaningful impact with the support of multiple stakeholders.
Founded in Indonesia on December 10, 1999, Human Initiative implements a Theory of Change (TOC) strategy that focuses on the positive impact of program implementation for communities, while adopting the Humanitarian-Development Nexus as the scope of its initiatives.
This approach is reflected in four main program pillars: Initiative for Empowerment, Initiative for Children, Initiative for Disaster Risk Management, and Initiative for Infrastructure, where people remain at the center of every program intervention.
