Job Summary

The
Plant Manager
is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Key duties include developing and implementing production plans, monitoring production costs and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and safety standards, driving technological innovation and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Strategic Operational Leadership: Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics, to ensure the on-time delivery of production goals and quality targets.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement & Efficiency: Champion initiatives in Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence to optimize processes, enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.

  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Manage, mentor, and develop a strong team of department managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.

  • Ensure Rigorous Quality & EHS Standards: Uphold the highest standards of product quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance, and 5S practices across the facility.

  • Manage Plant P&L and Assets: Exercise full responsibility for the plant's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and the efficient utilization of equipment and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or Business Management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven and progressive leadership experience in a comprehensive Plant/Site Manager role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Quality Management Systems (e.g.ISO 9001) to deliver tangible business results.

  • A strong, decisive leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills, capable of motivating teams and driving change.
