About Our Client
The client is a leading global manufacturer of automotive components.

Job Description
Incoming Quality (Supplier Parts & Materials)

  • Inspecting and validating incoming materials/components to meet specifications.
  • Collaborating with Purchasing Quality Assurance (PQA) to resolve non-conformities.
  • Driving supplier corrective actions and monitoring effectiveness.

Supplier Quality Management

  • Managing supplier audits, APQP/PPAP submissions, and performance reviews.
  • Conducting root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D) and implementing corrective actions.
  • Working closely with regional/global suppliers and aligning with PQT teams.

Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Maintaining compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and customer-specific standards.
  • Leading internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.
  • Supporting certification and customer audits.

In-Process & Outgoing Quality Control

  • Monitoring production lines for process adherence and defect prevention.
  • Conducting sampling, measurement, and functional testing before product shipment.
  • Coordinating with overseas labs (e.g., CN) for product testing and certification schedules.

Customer Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Acting as the quality representative for automotive OEM and Tier-1 clients.
  • Handling customer complaints, warranty issues, and 8D problem-solving reports.
  • Driving continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce defects and improve yield.
  • Supporting APQP, FMEA, and control plan development for new product launches.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-BU Collaboration

  • Liaising with internal functions such as Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to ensure alignment on quality topics.
  • Coordinating with regional/global Business Units (BU) to standardize processes and share best practices.
  • Acting as a key point of contact between suppliers, internal teams, and customers, ensuring transparent communication and quick issue resolution

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong background in automotive industry quality management, with solid knowledge of IATF 16949.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience as a Manager for 5 years
  • Demonstrates a future-fit, growth mindset, open to change and improvement.
  • Collaborative style - able to work across functions (not siloed within quality only) and embrace discussion when friction occurs.
  • Comfortable representing Indonesia within regional/global discussions.
