PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Strategic Researcher
will provide targeted research and insights to support business development, client work, and project initiatives, contributing to informed decision-making and effective strategic planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting high-quality, targeted market and competitor research to inform client strategy and proposal development.
- Supporting the development of RFP responses by compiling relevant and timely data.
- Maintaining and regularly auditing a centralised database of research sources, industry reports, and benchmarks for team-wide use.
- Creating competitor benchmarking and industry trend reports to support client-facing projects and strategic planning.
- Providing basic data analysis using tools such as Excel or Power BI to support both client work and internal initiatives.
- Managing documentation and administrative tasks related to research and reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and organisation.

- Translate research findings into strategic insights that contribute to business and client success.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, when delivering reports or engaging stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, quality, and timeliness in all research deliverables.
- Show initiative and manage your time across multiple ongoing projects and deadlines.
- High level of curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to stay on top of industry trends.
- Fluency in English is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a research or analytical role, ideally within a consulting, marketing, or strategy setting.
- Proficiency with research and data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a strong plus.
