Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
Support end-to-end rollout activities including requirement gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Build and optimize custom objects for retail-specific processes (e.g., article management, pricing, promotions, store operations).
Support POS integration development and troubleshooting.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to SAP development standards.
Analyze and resolve ABAP-related issues during SIT, UAT, and Go-Live phases.
Provide post–go-live support for retail sites during rollout waves.
Prepare technical documentation, unit test scripts, and development specifications.
Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams to support rollout schedules and deliverables.

Job Requirements
Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, preferably in retail or FMCG industry.
Strong hands-on experience in RICEF objects:
Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements (User Exits/BADIs), Forms (SmartForms/Adobe Forms).
Experience supporting retail rollout projects or multi-country rollouts.
Good understanding of retail processes: pricing, merchandising, store replenishment, article master, and POS integration.
Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, BDC, OData, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with SAP modules MM/SD/FI related to retail operations.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and technical analysis skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced rollout environments with tight timelines.
Good communication skills to work with cross-functional and global teams.
