About the role
We are seeking an experienced Export Import Supervisor to join our team at PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park, based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As an Export Import Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's import and export operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and driving efficient processes. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our manufacturing and logistics business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end import and export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination
- Ensure compliance with all applicable import and export regulations, laws, and industry standards
- Liaise with government agencies, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless import and export activities and/or audit
- Analyse data and generate reports to track KPIs and identify areas for process improvement
- Provide training and support to the team to enhance their knowledge and skills in import and export procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise logistics operations and address any issues or challenges
- Stay up to date with changes in import and export regulations and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an export import or logistics supervisory role, preferably within the manufacturing or trading industry
- Strong understanding of import and export regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for logistics and trade management
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Mandarin
- Hold a PPJK certificate and/or attend Customs Training will be preferred
