About the role
As the Area Sales Promotion Manager (FMCG Indusrty), you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales promotion efforts across Central Java. This full-time role is crucial in driving product visibility, brand awareness, and sales growth in the region. You will be based in Central Java and work closely with the local sales team to execute effective promotional campaigns and drive outstanding results.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales promotion strategies to boost product sales and market share in the assigned region
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify target customers and design tailored promotional activities to reach them
- Manage the execution of promotional campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with brand guidelines, and effective monitoring of results
- Analyse sales data and consumer insights to continually refine promotional plans and maximise their impact
- Serve as the main point of contact for regional retailers and distributors, fostering strong relationships and driving their engagement in promotional initiatives
- Mentor and guide the regional sales promotion team, providing coaching and support to enhance their skills and performance
- Contribute to the overall sales and marketing strategy by sharing insights and recommendations from the field
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales promotion or trade marketing roles, preferably in the FMCG industry especially in beverage
- Strong understanding of sales promotion techniques and a track record of successful campaign execution
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and optimise promotional activities
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with retail partners and distributors
- Effective leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop the regional sales promotion team
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
