Network Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is highly preferred.

• Additional certifications in network security (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIS) are a plus.

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in banking or financial institutions.

• Experience with secure network design and implementation in regulated environments.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

• Experience with enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).

• Familiarity with SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and network segmentation.

• Understanding of network security principles and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).

• Experience with network monitoring and performance tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).

• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and reporting are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize the bank's network infrastructure across branches and data centers.

• Ensure high availability and security of network services.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and monitor network security controls.

• Support audits and compliance reviews related to network infrastructure.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
