Job Desc:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards in your designated section of the kitchen.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence in food preparation.
  • Assist in the development and planning of menus, offering creative suggestions for seasonal specials.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed within the kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
  • Contribute to the presentation and garnishing of dishes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a restaurant and lounge.
  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes and menu items.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
