Job Desc:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards in your designated section of the kitchen.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and excellence in food preparation.
- Assist in the development and planning of menus, offering creative suggestions for seasonal specials.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed within the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
- Contribute to the presentation and garnishing of dishes to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a restaurant and lounge.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure efficient workflow.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes and menu items.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
