Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons tailored to the needs of Mandarin-speaking students.
- Support students in improving their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage students and enhance learning.
- Provide additional language support to help students access the mainstream curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and well-being.
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or EAL/TESOL qualification is preferred.
- Experience teaching English to non-native speakers, especially Mandarin-speaking students, is an advantage.
- Strong communication and intercultural skills.
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically and personally.
