We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented EXIM Manager to oversee our international trade operations. This role is critical in ensuring our import and export activities are compliant, cost-efficient, and aligned with our global strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end export and import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, regulations, and customs procedures.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, logistics partners, and service providers.
- Optimize shipping schedules, container utilization, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare, maintain and manage certifications, licenses, and other regulatory requirements (e.g., Bonded Zone Certification, and work together with related departments for others product security certification standards).
- Monitor payment terms, LCs (Letters of Credit), and coordinate with the finance team for timely settlements.
- Handle queries related to HS codes, duty structures, COO (Certificate of Origin) and FTA agreements.
- Stay updated with changes in EXIM policies, customs duties, and trade agreements.
- Generate and analyze reports related to shipments, costs, and lead times.
- Ensure all work processes meet occupational health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EXIM operations or international logistics in PMA especially in the manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, Bonded Zone, C-TPAT, SCAN, and Bea Cukai documentation and processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and EXIM-related ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, CEISA, etc.).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Fluent in English communication. (and Mandarin will be an advantages).
