Responsibilities
- Oversee all lab activities, including monitoring, method verification, and equipment calibration.
- Ensure strict compliance with
Quality, Food Safety, and HSE
(Health, Safety, and Environment) Policies. - Verify all processes meet the
Quality Management System
and
ISO 17025
standard. - Supervise
proficiency tests
and execute the verification of
new microbiology methods
. - Manage operations in a
cost-efficient
manner. - Efficiently manage stock of
media and lab tools
to prevent testing delays. - Manage the
SAP module
for
Material Management (MM)
and
Quality Management (QM). - Manage, train, and mentor
laboratory staff and technicians. - Foster professional growth and ensure the team's technical
competency
.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in a microbiology lab.
- Expertise in Microbiological Techniques and Lab Safety.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Familiarity with SAP software (for inventory and quality).
- Proven ability to lead a small team and guide others.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
