ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for credit risk assessment
- Manage and monitor calculated losses and expected future losses
- Develop and implement policies, criteria, and procedures that help reduce credit risk
- Responsible for setting credit limits, provisioning and scenario testing, and carrying out stress tests and scenario analysis
- Provide detailed data, information, and analysis on performance reports to management
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Technology
- At least 8 years of experience in risk management
- Strong and broad knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices
- Extensive knowledge of credit risk assessment and reporting
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Deep technical knowledge of customer segmentation, model building, portfolio analytics, data mining development and applications, and creative out-of-the-box thinking
- Strong computer and research skills; knowledge of analytical software preferred (e.g., SAS, SQL, Big Query, R, Python, or advanced MS Excel skills)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that let you explain technical concepts to less technical colleagues and produce proper documentation
- Understand the organizational environment
- Must have potential for further personal and professional development
- Able to work effectively in a complex matrix-based environment
