Role Description :

The
T&C Engineer Mechanical
will be handling the testing and commissioning works for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. He/she is responsible to perform and verify system functionality, coordinate with site teams, and ensure that all systems meet design intent and operational standards.

Job Description :

  • Develop and implement detailed testing and commissioning plans for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
  • Review design drawings, equipment submittals, and specifications to define commissioning requirements.
  • Conduct and witness pre-functional checks, system start-ups, and integrated testing.
  • Supervise and record system performance tests, balancing, and adjustments.
  • Coordinate T&C works with construction, QA/QC, and electrical teams.
  • Liaise with vendors, consultants, and clients during FAT, SAT, and site inspections.
  • Ensure all test procedures and results are properly documented and validated.
  • Identify and resolve technical or performance issues during testing phases.
  • Prepare and submit commissioning reports, punch lists, and handover documentation.
  • Comply with all HSE and quality standards during site operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Prior experience in Data Center, industrial, or mission-critical projects is preferred.

Strong understanding of mechanical services such as HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.

Familiarity with testing procedures, standards, and industry codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA).

Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and commissioning tools/software.

Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Valid professional certifications (if any, e.g., TAB Certification, NEBB, or equivalent) are an advantage.

Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.
