This is an entry level position in which the candidate will focus on assisting the Company in designing, drafting, and engineering products for the manufacturing division.
The candidate will be working along with the drafter team and is responsible for supporting the sales engineer team in providing high quality product drawings, assisting customer site visit, as well as estimating materials used. The candidate will also engage in the formulation of product design strategy in order to further improve the Company's product.
Job description:
- Conduct business trip and site visit to customers' sites.
- Able to understand specific customers' needs, perform on-site measurement, as well as organize and conduct presentations to customers if needed.
- Draft rough product sketch for use in sales proposal.
- Estimate materials used for production.
- Produce detailed final drawing for final presentation and production use.
- Print drawing as input for the production team.
Required degree and qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (industrial), Engineering (mechanical) or equivalent degree.
- Expertise in AutoCAD 2D.
- Expertise in Solidworks or other 3D software is a plus.
Preferred qualifications:
- At least 2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Able to work independently and collaborate with other team members.
- Positive, creative, and strong passion to learn.
- Great technical and interpersonal stills, effective communicator, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Possess a type A and C driver license.
- Willing to travel around Java areas.
