Position Overview

The Associate Brand Manager, Standard Equipment, will be responsible for managing the implementation of new equipment products. This includes competitive analysis, sourcing, product testing, launches and promotions, technical support, and pricing strategy development. The role ensures that product offerings align with market needs and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Product Commercialization Support

  • Assist in end-to-end development of new standard equipment products from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and brand strategy.
  • Support to pilot testing, validation, and quality assurance processes to ensure product reliability and performance.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews with end users, channel partners, and sales teams to uncover market trends and unmet needs.
  • Analyze competitor equipment offerings, pricing strategies, and industry developments to inform product positioning and differentiation.

Commercial Strategy Execution

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to execute go-to-market strategies, including customer engagement, promotional activities, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Operations to enhance demand planning, inventory management, and delivery efficiency.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to translate technical specifications into commercially viable products.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with Sourcing and Operations.

Performance & Compliance

  • Ensure equipment products meet relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
  • Monitor product performance, sales metrics, and market share; identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Marketing & Communication

  • Develop product literature, technical documentation, and sales tools for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support marketing campaigns and participation in trade shows and industry events to promote equipment offerings.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards across sales and service operations.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment by following all EHS policies and participating in training programs.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in product development, particularly in welding consumables or similar materials.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgy, welding processes, and relevant standards (e.g., AWS, ISO).
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Innovation-driven mindset with a proactive approach to research and development.
  • Well-developed oral and written English proficiency.
