Role Description

This is a full-time Video Editor Specialist role based on-site in Surabaya, Indonesia. The Video Editor Specialist will be responsible for handling video production tasks, including video editing, color grading, and motion graphics. The role involves creating high-quality video content that aligns with brand objectives, collaborating with creative teams, and ensuring professional standards in visual storytelling.

Qualifications

Exceptional taste in content quality
Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing
Experience in Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics
Skills in Graphics and visual compositions for multimedia projects
Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced start-up environment
Familiarity with industry-standard software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar tools
Bachelor's Degree in Creative field is a plus

What you'll be doing

Editing and producing high-quality videos for a variety of platforms, including social media, website, and advertising campaigns
Collaborating with the marketing teams to bring their visions to life through video
Ensuring video content aligns with Spencer's Indonesia's brand guidelines and messaging
Incorporating motion graphics, special effects, and audio enhancements to enhance the overall quality of the videos
Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to continuously improve the creative output
Providing support and guidance to the production team as needed

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced, creative environment
Proficiency in Figma, Capcut, Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and composition
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas to life
Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail

We're looking for a talented Videographer & Video Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you'll bring ideas to life through high-quality video production, working closely with our creative team.

You'll be responsible for capturing and editing long-form YouTube videos, and transforming them into short-form content for other social media platforms.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the creative team to understand the concept and visual direction for each project
Film and edit video content from start to finish, ensuring strong storytelling and consistent quality
Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots (equipment provided by the company)
Edit long-form videos for YouTube and repurpose them into vertical short-form formats for social media
Capture aerial shots using a drone when needed
Manage footage, organize project files, and ensure delivery within deadlines
Maintain visual consistency and quality across all content

Requirements

Proven experience as a videographer and video editor (please include your video portfolio link or attach file in resume)
Proficient in using professional camera gear and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Experienced or licensed drone pilot
