Data & Business Development Manager – Modern Trade (MT)

About the Role

As part of SKINTIFIC's strategic expansion in Indonesia, we are hiring a
Data & Business Development Manager
dedicated to the
Modern Trade (MT)
channel. This hybrid role combines commercial development and data-driven sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MT operations, performance analysis, and business growth, acting as a bridge between insights and field execution.

Key Responsibilities

1.
Channel Strategy & Commercial Analytics (40%)

  • Analyze sell-in and sell-out performance across MT accounts and key regions.
  • Identify growth opportunities and underperforming areas using sales data and market trends.
  • Build dashboards, forecasts, and models to monitor MT performance.
  • Translate analytics into clear, actionable strategies for internal teams.
  • Lead post-strategy evaluation to measure business impact and ROI.

2.
Business Development & Account Expansion (30%)

  • Develop strategic plans for MT coverage expansion, visibility, and distribution optimization.
  • Identify and activate new business opportunities within national and regional MT chains.
  • Manage distributor operations and supply chain flow for MT accounts.
  • Lead new product rollout strategies across MT, ensuring execution across availability, visibility, and sell-through.

3.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership (30%)

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and MT Key Accounts teams.
  • Guide and develop commercial analysts (if assigned) to support MT execution and insights.
  • Drive adoption of data tools and dashboards across internal sales teams.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and on-ground execution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Business Development, Trade Marketing, or Channel Management (Modern Trade), ideally in FMCG or Beauty.
  • Proven track record in driving channel growth using both data and on-ground insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides; knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus.
  • Experience managing MT operations and distributor networks.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Willing to work onsite in Mega Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan.
