Key Responsibility :

Develop formulas and design new plastic products according to market and customer needs.
Research the latest trends in plastic materials and technologies.
Improve the performance, production efficiency, and quality of existing plastic products.
Optimize the use of raw materials (resin, additives, colorants, etc.).
Prepare project timelines and R&D budgets.
Coordinate with production, QC, engineering, and marketing teams in product development.
Supervise trial processes and laboratory testing to ensure product compliance with technical standards and regulations.
Analyze test results and conduct technical evaluations.
Create technical documents, SOPs, and R&D project reports.
Develop technical specifications for plastic products.

General Qualifications – R&D Manager :

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in plastics R&D, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Experience in plastics processing (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of types of plastic resins (PP, PE, PET, PC, PVC, etc.).

Proficiency with laboratory testing equipment (MFI tester, DSC, TGA, tensile tester, etc.).

Understanding of plastic additive formulations, masterbatches, and the influence of process parameters.Leadership and managerial skills.

Communication and team coordination skills across departments.

Detail-oriented and result-oriented.

Innovative and analytical in solving technical problems.
